Acne Prone Skin Care Products

Acne is a skin condition that results in whiteheads, pimples, blackheads, inflammatory papules, nodules and cysts. When the pores on the skin’s surface blocks, acne develops. Substances that are on the skin's surface might clog the pores. They often arise from a combination of the skin's natural oils and the dead cells that are expelled from the inside of pores

Acne occurs during puberty due to hormonal changes in both men and women. Breakouts start at thirteen and usually reach their peak at age of seventeen, and go away from the beginning of the twenties. But, post-adolescent acne occurs after 25. The common factors that cause acne are: the production of excess oil or sebum, pores becoming clogged by "sticky" skin cells, bacteria, and inflammation. We can take care of acne prone skin using some following measures:

  • Use a gentle, non-drying soap to gently wash your skin.
  • Using a cleanser with salicylic acid or benzoyl acid may be helpful to treat acne and remove excess oil.
  • Wash your face twice a day. Also wash after a post- workout session.
  • Do not touch your face continuously. Avoid scraping the pimples as it may lead to infection on the skin.
  • Avoid rubbing cosmetics containing alcohol and other toners that dry your skin.

Including our acne/purity treatment products in your daily skincare regime helps regulate oil production and avoids pores from getting clogged due to dirt and dead skin cells. Also, the alpha arbutin ingredient in our dermatologist recommended acne products helps to clear acne marks and blemishes.
